FAQ

REGISTRATION & ENROLLMENT

1.     How do I register my child for a program?
You can register online through our “Registration” page by completing the digital form and submitting payment. Registration is confirmed once payment has been successfully processed.

2.     Is online registration legally binding?
Yes. Online registration, including required checkbox acknowledgments and typed signature, constitutes a legally binding electronic agreement under Ontario law.

3.     When is my child’s spot confirmed?
A participant’s spot is confirmed only after full payment has been successfully processed and you receive a confirmation email.

4.     Can I register more than one child at the same time?
Each participant must be registered separately to ensure accurate medical, emergency, and consent information.

5.     What happens after I submit registration?
You will receive an email confirming your registration details, payment status, and next steps including program start information.

6.     What if I select pay later?
If you select pay later, payment must be completed within the required timeframe to secure your child’s spot. Registrations are only confirmed once payment is received.

 
PROGRAMS & SCHEDULING

1.     How are players placed in programs?
Players are grouped based on age, development level, and program structure. Coaches may adjust placements to support safety and development.

2.     Can program schedules change?
Schedules, venues, and coaching assignments may be modified when necessary for safety, facility availability, weather, or operational reasons.

3.     What should my child bring to training?
Players should bring proper soccer footwear, shin guards, weather appropriate clothing, and a water bottle.

4.     What happens if a session is cancelled due to weather?
Weather related cancellations will be communicated promptly. Sessions may be rescheduled where feasible.

5.     Can my child change programs after registration?
Program changes may be considered subject to availability and administrative review.

 
PAYMENT & REFUNDS

1.     What payment methods do you accept?
We accept secure online payment through our website payment provider and email transfer where available. Payment instructions are provided during registration.

2.     Can I receive a refund if my child withdraws?
Refund eligibility depends on timing and costs already incurred. Please refer to our Refund Policy for full details.

3.     Are registration fees refundable?
Registration and administrative fees are generally nonrefundable except where required by applicable consumer protection legislation.

4.     What if my child cannot continue for medical reasons?
We may consider issuing a partial credit upon receipt of appropriate medical documentation.

5.     What should I do if I have a billing concern?
Please contact us directly before initiating any payment dispute so we can resolve the matter promptly.

6.     What happens if a payment fails or is missed?
If a scheduled payment fails or is not completed, the Academy may retry the payment and may suspend or cancel participation if payment is not received within the required timeframe.

7.     Can I cancel a monthly subscription?
Monthly subscriptions may only be cancelled by contacting the Academy directly and are subject to applicable program terms and notice requirements.

8.     Is my spot held without payment?
No. Spots are not held without payment and may be released if payment is not completed within the required timeframe.

 
SAFETY & PARTICIPATION

1.     What if my child is injured during a session?
Coaches will follow established safety procedures and contact parents or guardians immediately. Emergency services will be contacted when necessary.

2.     Do you require medical information?
Yes. Relevant medical disclosures are required to ensure participant safety and appropriate emergency response.

3.     How do you address communicable illness concerns?
Participation involves inherent exposure risk. Families are encouraged to follow public health guidance and keep participants home if unwell.

4.     Are players supervised during sessions?
Yes. Sessions are supervised by designated coaches and authorized personnel.

5.     Is participation voluntary?
Yes. Participation is voluntary and subject to acceptance of our Participation Agreement.

 
FIRST TIME PARENTS

1.     My child has never played soccer before. Can they still join?
Yes. We welcome beginners as well as experienced players. Programs are structured to support skill development at all levels.

2.     What ages do you accept?
We currently offer programs for children between the ages of 5 and 15. Participants are grouped by age and development level to ensure appropriate training and a positive experience.

3.     What equipment does my child need for their first session?
Players should wear comfortable athletic clothing, soccer cleats or appropriate footwear, shin guards, and bring a water bottle. Additional equipment requirements will be communicated if applicable.

4.     Can parents stay and watch sessions?
Parents are welcome to observe sessions provided they follow our Code of Conduct and avoid sideline interference or disruptive behavior.

5.     How will I receive updates about schedules or changes?
Program communications, schedule updates, and important announcements are sent by email. Please ensure your contact information is accurate during registration.

 
PRIVACY & MEDIA

1.     How do you protect my child’s personal information?
We follow Canadian privacy laws including PIPEDA and apply safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of collected information.

2.     What information do you collect during registration?
We collect parent contact details, participant information, emergency contacts, relevant medical disclosures, and payment confirmation data.

3.     Do you share personal information with third parties?
Information is shared only with necessary service providers such as payment processors or leagues for legitimate operational purposes.

4.     Do you post photos or videos of players?
Yes, but only where parental consent has been provided through our Media Release.

5.     Can I withdraw media consent?
Yes. Media consent may be withdrawn at any time by contacting us in writing.

 
CONDUCT & POLICIES

1.     What behavior is expected from players?
Players must demonstrate sportsmanship, respect, and compliance with coach instructions.

2.     What behavior is expected from parents and spectators?
Parents and spectators must maintain respectful conduct and avoid disruptive behavior.

3.     What happens if someone violates the Code of Conduct?
The Academy may suspend or remove individuals from participation without refund for violations.

4.     Where can I view your policies?
All Academy policies are available on our website including Participation Agreement, Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, Media Release, and Terms of Service.
